story

(The human behind it)

Forty years of trial, error, big ideas and little detours. I'm Shane. This is the honest version of living with ADHD, and why I built a place to share the useful bits.

(The story so far)

A real life.
A very busy brain.

I know what it's like to struggle with focus, organisation and following through, then give yourself a hard time about all three.

There is a particular frustration in knowing exactly what you should be doing and still finding it difficult to begin. There is also the sense of humour you develop when you spend years navigating that chaos.

Over time, I've collected practical ways of dealing with everyday challenges. Some stuck. Some lasted about as long as an exciting new notebook. This website shares the useful bits without pretending they will work for everyone.

(Why ADHDer?)

Lived experience matters. So does knowing its limits. A place to feel understood, pick up practical skills, and find reliable information when you need it.

(What you'll find)
(A little context)

Experience, with perspective.

My ADHD may look different from yours. For diagnosis, medicine and health decisions, speak to qualified professionals and use reliable guidance. There are no miracle fixes here, and no pressure to have it all sorted.

We're here to make the hard days a bit easier.
